Who We Are

R.K. McGregor Wright

Christmas 2005 034Dr. Wright is a teacher, apologist, theologian, and writer committed to encouraging and enabling pastors and churches to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

He is a consultant to pastors and ministry leaders, including ministries to cults and other religions.  Dr. Wright is convinced that personal attention to students is an effective method of  education, and often follows the British model of  teacher/student tutorials.

Bob founded and directed, with his wife Julia Castle, Friendship International, a church-based ministry with international students. Together they have directed The Aquila and Priscilla Study Center for more than 25 years.

Dr. McGregor Wright is the author of No Place For Sovereignty, What’s Wrong With Freewill Theism (IVP, 1996).

Julia Castle

Julia has extensive experience in cross-cultural communication, conference planning, curriculum and program design. With her husband Bob, Julia founded and directed Friendship International, a local church-based ministry with internationals. Julia was also Special Projects Director for The Association of Christian Ministries to Internationals, designing a master’s level program for ministering to internationals.

Julia also founded and directed, with Bob The Aquila and Priscilla Study Center, developing educational materials for Christian lay-leaders, as well as clergy. She is a trained mediator, encouraging conflict resolution for individuals and for the church.

A past president of the Front Range Chapter of Christians for Biblical Equality, Julia has a continuing interest in and commitment to encouraging, teaching, and mentoring women to use their gifts for the glory of God and the good of the Church.

Special interests include the writings of Dorothy L. Sayers, JRR Tolkien and C. S. Lewis. Bob and Julia, along with their friends Barbara and Delbert Linville planned and led a C.S. Lewis Tour traversing Oxford and the English countryside as a way of encouraging more people to read and enjoy these imaginative Christian writers.
